KARC Board Minutes for July 5th, 2007

The KARC monthly Board meeting was held on July 5th at the American Red Cross Chapter House in Kalamazoo at 7:05PM with Dave Nawatny calling the meeting to order. Due to a lack of quorum, no business was voted on.

Minutes from the last meeting were read and changes to the amount in the treasury were amended. They will need to be voted at the next meeting in August.

Also discussed was a suggestion by Jenna Keesler that we develop a spreadsheet to better manage food for field day. It was noted that we had significant food left over on Sunday at the close of the event.

Possible presenters for the summer months were discussed and Dave Nawatny notes that he has been talking with a couple of Hams in Battle Creek who do DX work. He notes that he does not yet have a commitment from them for a presentation.

The special Event station for August was also discussed.

With no other business the meeting was closed at 7:35
