The regular monthly board meeting was held at the Kalamazoo Red Cross on January 2nd, 2007. (past) President Dave Schneider, AB8DS, called the meeting to order at 7:13 PM. Also present were Board members Dave Newatny, KC8WLD; Ron Schubot, N8CML; Jim Gardner, KI8HF; Charlie Chapman, KB8SFR; Don Verhage, KC8OQM; John Mathieson; KC8ZTJ. Also present were Jim Keesler, K8EXF and Don Eikhoff, WD8IDJ. Absent was Al Lewis, W8JCY and Art Snapper, NK8X;
Minutes of the January board meeting were distributed and a motion by Don Verhage, second by Jim Gardner, to approve the minutes passed.
The Minutes of the January Membership Meeting / Annual Meeting were distributed and a motion by Jim Gardner, second by Dave Newatny, to approve the minutes passed.
Charlie Chapman proposed the following slate of officers for the new board:

The slate was seconded by Dave Newatny and was approved by unanimous consent.
Motion to close this section of the board meeting and reconvene under the new board by Dave Newatny, second by Ron Schubot was approved.
